Our Story

I began teaching children to cook whilst working as a nanny in London. I was astonished at the poor level of pre-school cooking classes available and began hosting baking parties and after school cooking clubs. I decided to make it my full time job when I moved to Kettering and acquired a house big enough to run classes from.

I believe that everyone can cook and here at Always Time To Bake I try to make it fun – because if you’re having fun it’s a piece of cake to learn right?!

Upcoming Events

We offer inspiring lessons where we have fun, discover new foods and learn an essential life skill.

Take a look at our cooking clubs pages for our current timetable. Classes are small and informal. We don’t believe in ‘dumbing down’ the food, even for toddlers. During the class we make nearly everything from scratch, typically preparing a delicious, nutritious meal for you to take home or eat in situ.

Our Approach

At AlwaysTimeToBake we teach home cooking in a home environment – nurturing children into adults with a healthy open and informed attitude to all foods.

Why Always Time to Bake?

We offer a wonderfully varied selection of age-appropriate recipes and take into account food allergies and dietary requirements for health or religious reasons.

We always emphasise a healthy take on food, but believe it should also be something a fussy four or forty year old would want to eat! We have seen some amazing transformations! We provide everything that’s needed. We clear up all the mess! And we can also come to you.
